IEL Technologie Agricole acquires Global Concept

To expand the range of services offered to its agricultural customers, IEL Technologie Agricole announces the acquisition of the Global Concept Engineering service from the company Global, owned by Vincent Nadeau-Morissette. The Global Concept team has been transferred to Sainte-Claire, along with the IEL Technologie Agricole team, to ensure greater synergy between the two teams, in the interests of their customers.

"This acquisition is part of IEL's development plan to become one of Quebec's leaders in farm equipment and on-farm technology while developing markets in Ontario and the Maritimes. Global Concept expands the services offered to local agricultural producers by IEL and its team. It's a move in line with IEL's mission, which is to put technology at the service of agricultural producers to make their lives easier, and we're proud of it," said Michel Delisle, Vice-Chairman of the Board of Directors of IEL Technologie Agricole and CEO of Avantis Coopérative.

"Global Concept's engineering services will remain primarily in the agricultural industry, and we will be pleased to continue collaborating with other engineering firms on dairy-related projects as we do today. Depending on their projects, customers will be able to use Global Concept's engineering services only, or both engineering services and farm building equipment and control technology services," says Vincent Nadeau-Morissette, President and CEO of IEL Technologie Agricole.

IEL Technologie Agricole serves poultry, pork, and dairy producers through a network of authorized dealers. Agricultural producers in Quebec, Ontario, and the Maritimes can count on IEL's expertise. The new engineering services will also be offered in these three regions.

New brand image

Global Concept is now an IEL Technologie Agricole company. To mark the change and the kinship between the two entities, a new brand image has been produced for Global Concept, inspired by that of IEL. The new image is simple and modern, with colors that reflect technology with a reference to agriculture, all imbued with confidence, solidity, and precision.
